I am Vivekraj Nair(EXTC)from S.I.E.S GST & i would like to share with you my experience in this test.

Most important thing b4 goin 4 dis test is that have a thorough look @ the previous test papers.cos der is a high probability of repetition of previous years papers in the aptitude test section(written test). The aptitude test comprised of 2 sections of 25 questions each i.e quant n analytical section.Now in our case der was even negative marking(1/4th).Right answers will fetch u 1mk.Cutoff was 10mks in each section.So be calculative wen u opt 2 answer all questions.(majority repeated in 2nd section).In all there were 3 stages in dis test n around 240 students came 2 dis pooled campus recruitment.Only 12 out which were placed with dis organisation.

The 3 stages were:
1) Written Test
2) GD
3) HR & Technical Interview

Written Test:
1.) Quantitative 25 questions
2.) Analytical 25 questions
It is very easy all questions are repeated just check the questions in my previous mail or just check in net. Cut of is
10 marks in aptitude
10 marks in reasoning

I remember all questions. But I have to prepare for my placements. So I will write other questions later.

Direction for Qn 15-18
An employee has to allocate offices to 6 staff members. The offices are no. 1-6. the offices are arranged in a row and they are separated from each other by dividers>hence voices, sounds and cigarette smoke flow easily from one office to another

Miss R needs to use the telephone quite often throughout the day. Mr. M and Mr. B need adjacent offices as they need to consult each other often while working. Miss H is a senior employee and his to be allotted the office no. 5, having the biggest window.

Mr D requires silence in office next to his. Mr. T, Mr M and Mr. D are all smokers. Miss H finds tobacco smoke allergic and consecutively the offices next to hers are occupied by non-smokers. Unless specifically stated all the employees maintain an atmosphere of silence during office hrs.

The ideal candithate to occupy office farthest from Mr. B will be

GD: Out of th 240 only 37 cleard 2 the GD.Finally after giving so many apti’s i made it 2 my maiden GD.Here v were divided in2 groups of arnd 8-10.Myn was 2nd grp n our topic was “Should India be divided into smaller states” It was an easy topic where i had my fair share of views n opinions.Please try 2 be the part of GD as an active member as its an elimination round.In my gropu arnd 4-5 made it 2 next round.Overall 24 students were selected after dis elimination round onto the Interviews.

Interview(HR & TECHNICAL): I was glad 2 now make it 2 my maiden interview.It was a HR cum Technical interview.To start with i introduced myself.The interviwer was really nice person who never made me feel the stress @ nypoint.Me being an Elex & telecom student he started with asking me the diff between GSM n CDMA.Den askd me my fav sub in EXTC. He then gave me a pblm with a block of no’s n asked me to draw an algorithm to obtain the highest no from the block with its square root being an integer.I xplaind my logic 2 him like.I think he was convinced with it.Then he proceeded with my resume n asked me sum general things regarding my diploma n my inplant training in L&T Automation.

Finally he asked me sum HR questions.Havin won few quiz competitions he askd me my fav area in that.I replied History.Then he shooted with sum world history questions in deep…thnx 2 gods grace i rem n answered all those he asked me.He den askd me if i had 2 kno more about the organisation.(Watever u say u know jst make sure that u know the very well) Finally my 30 mins long maiden interview finished.I was quite confident but still nervous abt the results.Then arnd 9.pm HR person(mam) came with the list n said here are the names of the selected candidates……n 1st name is Vivekraj Nair…..i still cant forget that moment….it was trully a wonderful day in my lyf.I would like to thank all my frnds n faculties who made that day possible 4 me n most important is freshers world…thank u very much guys.Hope dis xperience of myn fetch u sumthin 4 ur venture.So all the best frnds just believe in lf n ur abilities n always keep faith in the almighty till the end.

Latest Atos Origin Placement Paper Pattern - Atos Origin Self Experience at Father Agnels , Vashi , Navi Mumbai

The ATOS ORIGIN aptitude test was bit difficult, but if u r done with R.S.Aggrawal then u don’t have to worry at all. Bcoz all the question are from time & work, time & distance, profit & loss, probabilities section. Only 28 student’s r selected from the aptitude round and I was the 28th.

The next round was of interview. The ATOS ORIGIN -technical cum HR interview was taken by the two people together. The interview was damn cool.
Dont make mistakes, which i made in the HR , PI..

It goes as follows:

Int: Hi, tell me something about urself.
I: told

Int: Tell me something about mini projects that u have mentioned in ur resume.
[* This is most certain question so study Ur resume properly and only mention those things that u really know well enough. They will ask u that in depth. Don't just write stupid hobbies like reading, dancing unless u r really dedicated to those. *]
I: explained

Int: Tell me the difference between ASP and AWT
I: Told

Int: How can u get the label of the button pressed in java?
I: Tried to explain [ans: using ae.getActioncommand () function].

Int: Tell me your strengths and weakness
I: Told
[* The most obvious weakness is: I hardly say no to anyone Strengths: punctuality, positive approach, I never give up.*]
Int: Tell me any recent example of ur last strength.
I: Told him about how I reach college just two days ago through heavy traffic by taking lift from several guys.

Int: Tell something about our organization (ATOS ORIGIN).
I: Told the annual turnover, branches, their clients etc.
Then he told me to add two zero’s to the turnover told by me.
Int: Then ask something similar qn but I didn’t understood.
I: I don’t know sir.

Int: Why? U was not listening to our ppt in the morning. (you can get rejected for this Reason, pls make sure to gather some inforamtion about company )
I: Yes sir, I was there, but the AC was so high so I couldn’t concentrate.

Int: So what u r going to do in our organization. We have centralized AC in all our offices.
I: Sir, I will ask my father to get an AC right now at our home.

All three of us start laughing. At that point I felt I got a good chance of getting selected. Then he asks me if I want to know anything about their organization. If they ask u this question, believe me u r 95% selected. I asked couple of qns. Then he just said best of luck.

14 students got selected from our college and my name was there. I got selected in ATOS ORIGIN.

Let me tell u something very-very important from my experience. I had appeared for TCS, WIPRO, MASTEK, but didn’t crack. But don’t lose hope is the moral of the story, Believe in urself and u will get what u want. Be confident. That’s all.

Atos Placement Paper - Self Experience Atos-2011-Latest Atos Placement Papers - Mumbai

Hi Guys,
One of the Guy who was selected in Atos has posted this Self Experience
There were in all 3 sections Quant, English and Logical reasoning.
Total questions were 100 and the duration was 75 minutes.

Also there was sectional cut-off and negative marking of -0.5 for every wrong answer, so be careful.

1) Quant Section There were 25 questions in this section. Questions were very easy Most of the problems were from R.S.Aggarwal Quantitative book.
They were mainly from average, partnership, local value-face value of a number (1st chapter from R.S.Aggarwal), probability, sets etc.There were no questions from time work, trains, distance-speed, profit-loss, boats-streams in my paper but still I advice u all to please have look at these chapters also because these chapters are very important from aptitude test point of view (of any company).

2) Logical Reasoning It was a big section of 45 questions. Most of the problems were from R.S.Aggarwal Verbal and Non-verbal. But questions were too lengthy to read and because of that I managed to solve only about 18 to 20 questions. I had not expected this but this is what had happened to me. So I advice u all, if u have R.S.Aggarwal Verbal and Non-verbal book please try to solve questions like seating arrangement, puzzles and others which u feel important.

3) English Section Total 30 questions. Easy questions were asked like analogies, sentence completion(important), antonyms, synonyms and one big passage and questions based on that.

About aptitude I want to say that first try to solve half-half questions of each section as there is a sectional cut-off then if the time permits, try to solve some more quant and logical reasoning questions. Time management is very important here, so please don’t waste ur time in solving a particular section.

4)ESSAY WRITING
After aptitude, we were given 2 topics and they told us to write an essay on any one of the topic in 15 minutes.
They told us that the essay was only for checking thinking capability of the candidate and it would be considered only during HR interview.
Topics for us were

1.) Role of It Industry a boon for freshers
2.) Bomb Blasts and their impact on social life.


All of us had only one interview i.e. Tech + HR together.
But it may change (can have 2 interviews )



5) HR Round

• Tell me about yourself
• Okay now tell me about your mini projects (2 projects mentioned in my resume)
• Which programming languages do u know?
• Okay. Now just write down an algorithm for swapping two numbers without using third (temp) variable.

(eye-contact is also important in the interview)
